Vermont Invertebrate Checklists

We recenlty asked Dr. Ross Bell, UVM Professor Emeritus, how many invertebrate species might be in Vermont. Dr. Bell made a "back of the envelope" estimate of 21,420 species!

We would like to get faunal checklists for all invertebrate groups in Vermont and get a good idea of what might be in the Green Mountain State. If you are a specialist able to create a checklist of present or potentially present species for a taxonomic group, please contact us. Meanwhile, here are a few checklists that are already done.
